Relax & revive, enjoy some special time alone
Sometimes you need to retreat in order to move forwards.
These mid-week breaks are ideal for people who just want to take time our on their own, relax, soak up the peaceful surroundings and enjoy all our facilities.
Maybe you are traveling through New Zealand and want a break in comfortable accommodation with the opportunity to practice Yoga.
Or maybe you just need a break from your everyday life, to get away from it all on your own for a period of quiet time and reflection.
These are self-catering weeks and you will have full use of our kitchen and all facilities. You may be here on your own or you may be sharing the lodge with other people who also just want to hang out for a few days. The sense of community will add value to your stay as you meet new people and make new friends.
You can join any scheduled Yoga classes or use the Yoga room and all the equipment , when it's not in use, for your own practice.
You will also have full use of the swimming pool, naturally heated in summer, the spa, gym and the gardens.

- Travel to and from the retreat centre.

My yoga journey spans 40 years, starting with a deep grounding in the Iyengar system and more recently in Knoff Yoga, with complimentary practice in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin Yoga and Scaravelli-inspired.
I have completed over 600 hours of teacher training since 2001, in Yoga, Meditation and Pranayama, achieved the Yoga Alliance 200 RYT, Knoff Yoga Foundation Certificate, Anatomy and Physiology diploma (Otago Uni) and teaching certificates in Yin Yoga and Aerial Yoga.
I believe that Yoga is for everyone and my aim as a teacher is to demystify the practice and make it accessible, fun, safe and above all, beneficial for every student regardless of their starting place.
The Iyengar approach has given me a deep understanding of the principles of alignment and this strong, intelligent and focused style of Yoga continues to influence my teaching today.
I am hugely indebted to the many talented teachers that I have been fortunate to study with and my purpose as a teacher is to pass on their knowledge and channel their unique gifts to the best of my ability.
Individual retreats - all rooms are $120 per person per night

Price per person includes accommodation on a self-catering basis and use of facilities. There may be Yoga classes taking place which you are welcome to join.
We take payment via bank transfer to avoid credit card charges. Secure you place with a 50% deposit. Remainder is due 30 days prior to the start of the retreat.
